I almost missed this outrageous thing - it is water apple flower, which will turn into a lovely magenta colored fruit which has no relation to the apples we know, and tastes fairly bland. When cooked, it makes a pudding like consistency.

In April of 2005, I sold my house and most of my possessions, and decided to look around for a while to see what else there is for me in this life. Previously a fine artist, a web and graphic designer, I did seven years as a corporate project manager designing internet tools. Caught between unfulfillment, and disturbed by the direction my country of birth is taking, I'm seeking a life more harmonious with my values - living simply in a warm climate, more sustainably and gently on the planet.
