On Sunday morning, we planned a trip for Turrialba, to check out CATI, the agricultural research facility and the ruins. Since there was a serious party the night before, we didn't get out early, so we only got to do one of the two. Four people opted for the ruins, but since Pablo was coming with us, Irma, Claire and I opted for CATI. Pablo is a doctoral student from Nicaragua, doing his research and thesis work on improving coffee crops. Here he is, waiting for us in the hammock at Montana Linda, covered because it is raining.
